For Small & Local Businesses

Growing Too Fast
For Your Tech To Keep Up?

15 years architecting systems for companies like Hertz, Costco, and Wayfair. Now running a fractional CTO practice helping small and local businesses build the tech, analytics, and growth systems that actually move revenue — without the enterprise price tag.

Austin, TX · serving clients nationwide · first independent client grew revenue 44x in 90 days.

$81 → $3,500+
per month in 90 days

First client came to me running a side gig with a dated site, no analytics, and no marketing strategy. 90 days later: custom theme, full analytics stack, SEO foundation, and a growth roadmap. They went from occasional online orders to a real, growing business — and we have the next 6 months mapped to make this their long-term sustainable income.

Who This Is For

Most small businesses have the same problem: the tech works, but nobody is thinking about how it actually drives growth. That is where I come in.

Local service businesses

Contractors, installers, landscapers, home services. You know your craft. I know how to get you more of the customers who need it.

E-commerce brands

Shopify, Etsy, DTC brands. I optimize conversion, set up the analytics, and connect your ad spend to actual revenue.

Growing service firms

Agencies, consultants, coaches — if you're hitting a ceiling on leads and referrals, I help you build the systems to scale.

Brick-and-mortar with a digital problem

Restaurants, salons, retail, gyms. You're great at running the business. The website and marketing side is eating you alive. I fix it.

What I Build

The full stack of tech and marketing systems a small business needs to grow — not just a pretty website.

Websites That Actually Sell

Most small business sites are brochures. I build sites that capture leads, book appointments, sell products, and give you real data on what's working. Shopify, WordPress, custom — whatever fits your business.

Analytics You Can Read

Stop flying blind. I set up PostHog, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and dashboards that tell you where your customers come from, what they do, and why they buy — in plain English, not consultant jargon.

Marketing That Converts

I've run the full commerce playbook: Facebook ads, Google Local Services, email capture, abandoned cart, SEO, review collection. I know what works for small businesses because I've done it for one.

Local SEO & Google Business

If you're not in the Google local 3-pack, you're losing customers to competitors. I fix your Google Business profile, get you reviews, optimize local search, and make sure you show up when someone nearby is looking.

Mobile Experience

Over 70% of your customers are on their phones. If your site is slow, hard to tap, or breaks on mobile, you are bleeding business. I fix it.

Automation That Saves You Hours

Lead capture to email. Booking to calendar. Customer feedback to a dashboard. I connect the tools you already use so they work together automatically — no more copying data between spreadsheets.

See If We Fit

How It Works

No mystery. No surprises. Here is exactly what happens.

1

Free 15-minute call

Tell me about your business, what is working, what is not, and where you want to go. I will be honest about whether I can help.

2

Real assessment

I dig into your actual tech and marketing setup. Not a demo, not a sales pitch — a real look at what's there and what's missing.

3

Clear plan + execution

You get a plain-English plan with specific priorities. Then we either fix it together, or I hand it off so your team can run with it.

4

Measure and grow

Every decision tied to data. Every dollar spent tracked to revenue. No more guessing.

When This Is NOT The Right Fit

I would rather tell you upfront than waste your time.

You want the cheapest option on Fiverr
You want someone to "just build the website" without thinking about business outcomes
You're not ready to invest in marketing or analytics
You want me to promise #1 on Google in 30 days
You don't have time for a 30-minute call

Common Questions

I'm not technical. Will I understand what you're doing?

Yes. I write for business owners, not engineers. I explain what I'm doing as I do it, and every deliverable comes in plain English with clear next steps. If you can read an email, you can work with me.

You built systems at Hertz and Wayfair. Why help small businesses?

Because small businesses are where the tech decisions actually matter most. A bad call at a Fortune 500 is a line item buried in a quarterly report. A bad call at a small business is your rent. I take this work seriously because the stakes are higher, not lower. Also: I enjoy it more. Real problems, real results, real people — and my decisions actually ship to production the week after we make them.

How is this different from hiring a local web developer?

A local web developer builds websites. I build the whole system — site, analytics, marketing, automation, SEO — and tie every decision back to revenue. I'm not trying to sell you a website. I'm trying to grow your business. And when the work is done, you own everything. No lock-in, no ongoing fees unless you choose them.

Will you work with my existing developer or team?

Absolutely. If you already have someone you trust, I can audit their work, give them clear direction, or act as the technical leader who makes sure everything they build connects to growth. A lot of small businesses have great developers who just need someone thinking about the business side.

Do you guarantee results?

I guarantee effort, honesty, and real expertise. Nobody honest can guarantee your business will grow — and anyone who does is lying to you. That said, I am open to KPI-driven payment structures where part of my compensation is tied to hitting specific, measurable outcomes we agree on upfront. The more risk I take on, the more the pricing reflects that. Standard rates apply for standard engagements; performance-based pricing is a conversation we can have if you want skin-in-the-game alignment. My first client went from a side gig doing $81/month to $3,500+/month in 90 days — I'm confident enough in the approach to put my fees behind it when the fit is right.

I'm in Austin. Do you meet in person?

Yes. Austin and the surrounding area, I prefer to meet in person at least once early in the engagement. Outside Austin, everything works remotely — and most of the work is remote anyway.
